What does ProClipper Bulk Transcript do?
ProClipper collects available YouTube transcripts from a video, playlist, channel, or multiple links. Paste your links, choose a video limit, and press Get free transcripts. Download each transcript as it becomes ready, or wait for processing to finish and download them together.
Can I download the transcript of just one YouTube video?
Yes. Use the Download button beside the video to get its VTT transcript, or use Download combined file to choose another format, even for a single video.
Can I paste multiple links at once?
Yes. Separate video, playlist, or channel links with spaces, or paste a list on separate lines. The Max videos setting applies to each playlist or channel. Duplicate videos within the same request are processed only once.
Can I download transcripts from an entire YouTube channel?
Yes. Paste a channel link and choose how many videos to process, up to 100 per channel. We automatically read uploaded videos by that channel and process it.
Can I download all transcripts from a YouTube playlist?
Yes. Paste a playlist link and choose a video limit, up to 100 per playlist. Videos are processed in playlist order, and available transcripts appear as they are ready. If a video has no accessible transcript, the remaining available transcripts can still be downloaded.
Why does my playlist say it does not exist or is private?
Check that the URL is correct and that the playlist opens without signing in to YouTube. Private, deleted, or restricted playlists may be unavailable. Signing in to ProClipper does not give it access to your private YouTube playlists.
Does every YouTube video have a transcript?
No. ProClipper retrieves available automatic captions from YouTube. Videos without accessible automatic captions may be skipped. It does not transcribe the audio itself, and automatic captions can contain mistakes.
How much does it cost to download transcripts?
Once transcribed it lives in your library and is forever free to download. Else each transcription consumes 1 credit. (1 video = 1 credit)
Can I use the transcripts with NotebookLM, ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Choose "AI ready (ChatGPT, Claude, NotebookLM)" as the download Format. This creates a Markdown file with video details and transcript paragraphs. You can copy the text or upload the file where your chosen tool.
What formats can I download?
You can choose between AI ready markdown, VTT, plaintext, Json and markdown. You can also choose whether to download a singular combined file or a zip containing all the files.
Is there a YouTube transcript API or MCP server?
Yes, the REST API supports submitting requests, checking progress, and downloading transcripts. MCP is also available in beta. Read the API and MCP guide.
Why are Download combined file and Download ZIP disabled?
Both buttons become available after processing finishes and the combined file is ready. You can download individual transcripts as soon as their Download buttons become active. If some videos fail, the combined download can still contain the successfully prepared transcripts.
